Amy Smart is an American former actress and model. Amy Smart was raised in California, USA. Amy Smart began modelling in Italy. Her acting career began in 1996, when she was a character in the TV film Her Costly Affair. From there to starring in a small role in the film Starship Troopers she struggled very for a long time. It was a difficult transition for Amy because she had change from modeling to acting. Models aren't regarded as the best actors, so they usually play smaller, less important roles. Amy didn't give up, and she eventually landed larger roles in the films Varsity Blues and The 70s. Amy was then promoted to lead parts in 2005's love story Just Friends starring Ryan Reynolds. Amy gained recognition after more than ten years struggling. Amy went on to star in major movies including the Crank Series with Jason Statham, and Shameless.
