Amy Smart was an American model as well as actress. Her modelling career began in Italy which is where she was raised and born in California. Her acting career started in 1996, when she was a character in the TV film Her Costly Affair. She struggled to get a small role on Starship Troopers. It was a hard time when she had to change from modeling to acting since the models werent usually believed to be actors and were mostly granted smaller, insignificant roles. Amy persevered, and she eventually landed larger parts in the movies Varsity Blues and The 70s. Amy later stepped into lead parts in 2005's romance film Just Friends starring Ryan Reynolds. Amy became famous for her efforts over the past 10 years. She continued to do significant films, like Crank alongside Jason Statham or Shameless in which she became a cherished recurring part of the cast.
