In seasons 1-8, the shippers place bids on two shipments listed on uShip, in the form of a reverse auction. The bids are usually accompanied by remarks about the probable risk and costs and the motives and abilities. The job is usually awarded to the bidder with the lowest bid when the auction is over. However, at the discretion of the customer it could be assigned to a bidder who has received a higher ratings from previous customers. To break any ties feedback ratings are utilized. Season 9 has shippers receiving their cargo from a shipping company. The bidding process isn’t depicted. Shippers load their cargo and try to deliver it in good order by the deadline set by the buyer or the receiver. Client feedback scores are shown after the loads have been delivered. The show concludes with each shipper's earnings and expenses. To determine the profits or loss, the amount of bids is subtracted. At times, a shipper may arrange to transport several additional loads in the same journey, with the extra money figured into their total. Sometimes, the shipper will not be able complete a job because of concerns regarding the weight of the load and road safety. Sometimes, one or more shippers will enlist the services of a different person to assist in the completion of a job; the shippers decide which way to divide the profits. The progress of each shipment is disrupted by funny criticisms from other shippers in seasons 1-8.
