
Colleen Mae (born on 21 November the 21st of November, 1986) is an American comedian. She's also a YouTuber, actress and singer. She is best known for her Internet character Miranda Sings, uploading videos of the character on YouTube in addition to performing her solo comedy show in theaters across the world, and making and starring in the Netflix original series titled Haters Back Off (2016-2017) about the character. Ballinger created the jolly eccentric, egotistical, incompetent character to mock the numerous YouTube videos of people who sing badly to try and make it into the showbiz. The views she has received on her YouTube channels are more than 5 billion. Miranda Sings' channel has more followers than 10 million, with over 13 million TikTok followers, and 6,000,000 Instagram followers. Ballinger won a Teen Choice Award for "Web Star: Comedy"and a Streamy Award as Best Actress. The actress was selected by The Hollywood Reporter as one of the Top 25 Digital Stars and she was ranked number. Forbes magazine's top entertainment influencers list put her at number 5. Ballinger has been an actor and as a singer in films, TV and television, as well as recordings and online-based series. She was a guest on in Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee With Jerry Seinfeld (2014) and played in Escape the Night (2018)-2019. Selp-Helf (2015) & My Diarrhe (2018) are among her top-selling books. They were written in Miranda's voice. She is married to actor Erik Stocklin. Ballinger initially moved to New York City to pursue opportunities in the field of performing. She returned to California in 2012 only to find she was unable to grow her YouTube audience without collaborating with YouTubers in Los Angeles. After many years together, Ballinger and Joshua Evans were married in California in July 2015. In separate YouTube videos, Evans & Ballinger announced their plans to divorce in September of 2016.
